Job summary

Niyam IT, Inc. is hiring an experienced AI/ML Engineer to support a federal client. The role focuses on full-stack development, building AI/ML solutions, and integrating AI capabilities like Google Gemini AI with APIs, databases, and modern languages.

You will collaborate with data science and prototyping teams to solve technical challenges and contribute to Agile delivery. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software development experience, CS-related degree, and proficiency in YAML/JSON,

Qualifications

US Citizenship with ability to successfully complete a federal background investigation.
7+ years of software development experience.
Expertise in YAML, JSON, Python, Java, JavaScript and TypeScript.
Full Stack development experience with Angular and back-end development.
Ability to work with Data Scientist teams to integrate AI/ML, Big Data, or BI solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement custom software solutions for AI/ML pilot projects including Google Gemini AI.
Develop and work with RESTful APIs, authentication methods, data formats, and API error handling.
Use SQL and NoSQL databases and integrate them within the same application with strong security practices.
Act as a prototyping team member delivering working software within short timelines.
Analyze complex problems and devise innovative technology-based solutions.
Participate in agile ceremonies including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
