Anika Systems is seeking an AI Engineer to design and deliver production AI systems across our commercial platform and federal modernization programs. You will own end-to-end work, including data, model integration, services, UI, and deployment, on a small, senior team.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years shipping ML/NLP solutions with LLM focus, strong Python/TypeScript, and experience with AWS, Terraform, and secure, compliant deployments. U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or data-related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 1–3 years building ML/NLP systems with emphasis on LLM/Generative AI.
• Strong Python and TypeScript, with FastAPI and React experience.
• Hands-on LLM integration across platforms (OpenAI, Azure, etc.).
• Experience with agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, and guardrails.
• Relational data modeling in PostgreSQL, async ORM and migrations.
• AWS fluency and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• OAuth/OIDC, JWT, RBAC, multi-tenant design knowledge.
• Disciplined testing, linting, and clear communication.
