Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Data Collection Lead to oversee end-to-end data collection programs supporting AI/ML model development. You will translate client requirements into actionable collection strategies, manage distributed teams and vendors, and ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

You will design collection methodologies across images, video, audio, and multimodal data, while coordinating risk management and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in project management or data operations.
• Experience managing data collection or operational projects from planning to delivery.
• Exposure to egocentric AI data collection projects is valued.
• Experience with image/video collection, multilingual datasets, and AI data requirements.
• Strong coordination of distributed teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage data collection projects from planning through delivery, translating client requirements into plans and workflows.
• Design collection strategies, define participant profiles, coverage, devices, environments, and metadata requirements.
• Coordinate pilots, evaluate results, identify gaps, and refine methodologies before scaling.
• Lead recruitment and coordination of freelancers, field teams, and external vendors.
• Oversee resource planning and capacity management across projects.
• Establish data quality assurance processes and address issues to ensure client specifications.
• Maintain client communications and translate feedback into actionable plans.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies; resolve bottlenecks with practical recommendations.
• Develop SOPs and reusable methodologies to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Contribute to strengthening data collection capabilities across AI applications and regions.
