SMX is hiring a Mid-Level Site Reliability Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable AI/ML cloud infrastructure across commercial, private, hybrid, and government cloud environments. You will act as a technical SME, engaging with client stakeholders to demonstrate platform capabilities, scope services, and support engagements beyond hands-on platform engineering.

Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Ability to communicate complex infrastructure concepts to customer stakeholders.
• Kubernetes operations including RBAC, Pod Security, and secrets management.
• Experience across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud with Terraform and Git-based workflows.
• Automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong troubleshooting across compute, storage, networking and applications; familiarity with CIS/NIST/FedRAMP concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, deploy, and operate high-performance AI/ML cloud infra.
• Serve as a customer-facing SME, translating challenges into architectures.
• Collaborate with delivery and account teams on scoping and solutions.
• Drive infra automation with Terraform and GitOps, embedding security controls.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with vulnerability scans and audit logs.
• Monitor platform performance, participate in on-call rotations, and perform RCAs.
• Enforce network segmentation, data isolation, encryption, and key management.
• Produce runbooks, reference architectures, and customer documentation.
