Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with an AI voice model, compare AI-created images and videos, and explain what’s off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

At Outlier, you’ll help shape AI systems by evaluating outputs, writing evidence-based explanations, and ranking results. Earn up to $18/hour with weekly payments and flexible, remote work.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and ranking how natural and clear each sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio and video.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a specific English explanation pointing to observations.
