Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. Hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded wrong, all remotely and on your own schedule.

You'll help shape how advanced AI systems reason and improve, with opportunities to earn up to $15/hour plus incentives, and access to leading LLMs. Work from anywhere and manage your own hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining in natural conversation.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn't match the video.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing explanations in English identifying what you saw or heard.
