Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented contributors to review AI-generated media. You’ll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off, all remotely and on your own schedule. Your input shapes how advanced AI systems learn and improve.

Ideal candidates are fluent English speakers with keen attention to detail and strong written explanations. This is a remote, flexible-hour contract opportunity with pay up to $15/hour and additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the patience to look and listen closely, and to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or above preferred.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models.
• Ranking how natural, useful, and clear each output sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging prompt adherence.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Writing explanations in English that point to observed issues.
• Evaluating images, videos, captions, and audio tasks as described.
