Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media and roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, scoring exchanges, and explaining what’s off. You’ll work remotely on your own schedule, supporting AI systems to improve in the real world.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, with sharp attention to detail, comfortable thinking on their feet, and a background in writing concise explanations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication and clear everyday conversational speech.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to replay/zoom in to spot issues.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos, judging adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot distortions, flickering, or misalignment and write explanations in English.
• Rate outputs across dimensions and provide written rationale.
