Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking a Ledger & Reconciliation AI Expert to join our finance and data transformation team. The role focuses on ledger management, reconciliation practices, and leveraging AI tools to automate workflows and improve accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a CA or equivalent qualification and 2–8 years in reconciliations, with ERP exposure (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and a strong analytic mindset. This is a remote, international part-time/contract opportunity supporting multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 2–8 years of ledger management and reconciliations experience.
• Exposure to intercompany accounting and eliminations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize end-to-end account reconciliation processes across systems.
• Perform detailed reconciliations, variance analyses, and trend identification.
• Automate reconciliation workflows using AI tools to reduce manual work.
• Handle intercompany transactions, eliminations, and accurate interco recording.
• Contribute to chart of accounts design, governance, and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to close books timely.
