Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an AI Learning Design Lead in a remote capacity to design and advance learning pathways that build role-based AI skills.

You will translate capability needs into practical experiences and guide design work across multiple initiatives, aligning with enterprise AI objectives. You will collaborate with business partners, AI product teams, SMEs, and learning colleagues to ensure content quality and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning design, adult education, learning technologies, organizational development, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing learning solutions.
• Experience translating needs into measurable objectives and sequenced learning experiences.
• Experience supporting AI, emergent technology, digital transformation, or technical-skilling initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, performance consulting, accessibility, assessment, and learning evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Design learning pathways and translate skill needs into objectives, sequenced journeys, practice opportunities, assessments, and performance support.
• Lead design across digital, live, virtual, cohort-based, and experiential learning for AI skilling initiatives.
• Create and curate internal/external content into cohesive, role-relevant learning experiences.
• Apply design standards using adult learning, performance consulting, and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with business partners, AI product teams, SMEs, facilitators, vendors, and learning colleagues to identify needs and support delivery.
• Coordinate design activities, timelines, reviews, dependencies, and risks; propose practical solutions when priorities shift.
• Measure and improve by using feedback, assessments, and proficiency indicators to enhance pathways.
• Develop reusable templates and standards to scale learning design.
