Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks an AI Learning Design Lead to design and accelerate role-based AI skills, translating capability needs into practical learning experiences across initiatives.

You will guide design work with SMEs, vendors, and AI product teams to ensure engaging, measurable pathways. The role requires 8+ years in learning design, expertise in AI-enabled tools like Articulate 360, Vyond, and Camtasia, and a strong ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple projects with quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning design, adult education, learning technologies, organizational development, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing learning solutions.
• Experience translating skill, business, or performance needs into measurable objectives and sequenced learning experiences.
• Experience supporting AI, emerging technology, digital transformation, or technical-skilling initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, performance consulting, accessibility, assessment, and learning evaluation.
• Experience using generative AI and AI-enabled learning tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, or comparable AI-enabled learning platforms for learning design, development, or learner support.
• Demonstrated ability to guide design work, collaborate across functions, manage multiple projects, and influence without direct authority.
• Strong consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design learning pathways.
• Translate skill and performance needs into measurable objectives and sequenced learning journeys, practice opportunities, assessments, and performance support.
• Lead learning design across digital, live, virtual, cohort-based, and experiential learning for AI skilling initiatives.
• Create and curate content into cohesive, role-relevant learning experiences.
• Apply adult learning and performance consulting standards to ensure quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with partners to identify needs, validate content, and support delivery.
• Coordinate design activities, timelines, reviews, dependencies, and risks across projects.
• Measure and improve using learner feedback, assessments, proficiency indicators, and performance data.
• Scale learning design with reusable templates and standards.
