Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an AI Governance Process Lead to design and operationalize governance processes that enable safe, scalable AI adoption.

You will lead end-to-end governance lifecycles, establish risk-based controls, and connect business, risk, legal, and technology stakeholders to drive adoption and compliance across AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in AI governance.
• Experience designing and implementing governance operating models.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, controls, attestation, residual risk, and exception processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the end-to-end AI governance lifecycle from use-case intake to retirement.
• Define AI risk assessment methodology and controls, including attestation and exception management.
• Establish governance roles and an operating model linking business, risk, legal, and technology stakeholders.
• Set clear criteria for when an AI use case is fully governed and compliant.
• Drive adoption by translating governance requirements into practical, executable processes.
