Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an AI Governance Process Lead to design and operationalize governance processes for responsible AI adoption at scale. You will collaborate with client risk, compliance, and technology leaders within the ServiceNow Business Group and AI Control Tower delivery teams.

The role emphasizes establishing governance operating models, risk assessment methodologies, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment to ensure compliant AI deployments.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in AI governance and operating models.
• Hands-on with ServiceNow AICT or IRM.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, controls, attestation, residual risk, and exceptions.
• Ability to translate governance requirements into executable processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the end-to-end AI governance lifecycle, from use-case intake and risk assessment through approval, monitoring, and retirement.
• Define AI risk assessment methodology and controls, including attestation, residual-risk evaluation, and exception management.
• Establish governance roles, responsibilities, and an operating model that connects business, risk, legal, and technology stakeholders.
• Set clear managed-state criteria that define when an AI use case is fully governed and compliant.
• Drive adoption by translating governance requirements into practical, executable processes and guiding stakeholders through rollout.
