Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an AI Governance Process Lead to design and operationalize governance processes for responsible AI adoption. The role sits within the ServiceNow AI Control Tower delivery teams and connects business, risk, legal, and technology stakeholders.

The position offers remote work within the United States with a competitive salary and Cognizant incentive programs. Candidates should have senior AI governance experience and hands-on IRM/AICT exposure.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in AI governance, including designing and implementing governance operating models.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow AI Control Tower (AICT) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, controls, attestation, residual risk, and exception processes.
• Proven ability to translate governance requirements into practical, executable processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the end-to-end AI governance lifecycle, from use-case intake and risk assessment through approval, monitoring, and retirement
• Define AI risk assessment methodology and controls, including attestation, residual-risk evaluation, and exception management
• Establish governance roles, responsibilities, and an operating model that connects business, risk, legal, and technology stakeholders
• Set clear managed-state criteria that define when an AI use case is fully governed and compliant
• Drive adoption by translating governance requirements into practical, executable processes and guiding stakeholders through rollout
