Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-ons Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to own end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑native systems for a single client engagement in highly regulated industries. You will be the technical authority within an Advanced Forward Engineering cell, turning ambiguous business problems into secure, production‑grade solutions at client sites.

You will lead a small pod, interface with the client, and drive technical direction while staying deeply involved in code, data, and the client environment as

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering complex enterprise systems in regulated or client-facing contexts.
• Hands-on depth across integration-heavy architectures, cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Experience with modern AI-enabled stacks and orchestration frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead a small technical team while remaining an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end outcome delivery for the cell, including scoping, tradeoffs, and production readiness.
• Embed with the client to translate business needs into executable technical solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical interface to client stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Stay hands-on and dive into code and client systems as needed.
• Deploy and stabilize solutions in the client environment with release accountability.
• Direct the work of the cell's engineers to ensure cohesive, production-grade outcomes.
• Ensure deployments meet safety, integrity, and cost constraints with governance.
