Job summary

EY is seeking a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of AI-native systems for a single client in regulated industries. The role blends technical authority with client leadership, embedding in the client environment, and delivering production-grade solutions while navigating regulatory constraints.

Ideal candidates combine deep engineering judgment with strong stakeholder management and the ability to lead a small, senior cell.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering complex enterprise systems.
• Hands-on engineering depth across integrations and cloud.
• Experience with AI-enabled application stacks.
• Proven ability to own outcomes end to end in customer settings.
• Ability to lead a small technical team while coding.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end outcome delivery for the cell.
• Embed with the client to define problems and translate needs.
• Serve as the primary technical interface to client stakeholders.
• Stay hands-on designing and building critical parts of the solution.
• Deploy, adapt, and stabilize solutions in the client environment.
• Direct the cell's Implementation Engineer and Data Engineer.
• Ensure deployments meet safety, integrity, and cost constraints.
