Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote basis. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image/video outputs, and explain what’s off in writing, helping improve AI reasoning and performance on your own schedule.

Role emphasizes clear communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to decide when either option has flaws.

Qualifications

Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
Strong attention to detail and patient when replaying or zooming in to spot issues.
Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining realistic situations in a conversational way.
Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and clear each sounded.
Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
Inspecting outputs closely—zooming in and replaying—to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a concise English explanation of what was observed.
