Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media and provide written explanations. Work remotely on your own schedule, with flexible hours and a freelance 1099 contract.

You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-generated images and videos, and write clear notes on what looked off. Earn up to $15 per hour, with weekly pay options via ACH, PayPal, or AirTM.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Ability to think on your feet and explain decisions clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Clear decision-making when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, or audio-video mismatch.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
• Image evaluations: compare two AI-generated images for the same text prompt and pick the better one.
• Video evaluations: rank AI-generated videos against a text prompt.
• Video caption labeling and audio/voice evaluations with concise explanations.
