Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You’ll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off, all remotely and on your schedule.

Contributors help shape AI systems by rating outputs for adherence, quality and realism, writing clear explanations in English. This freelance, 1099 role pays weekly and offers incentives and access to leading LLMs.

Qualifications

• Ideal Qualifications: Fluent English with strong written communication and comfort with everyday conversational speech.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to verify outputs.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of decisive judgment when options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy or audio-visual mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a concise explanation in English.
