Job summary

Outlier is looking for detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from the comfort of your home. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-created images and videos, and describe what’s off, all on your schedule.

As part of Outlier’s evaluation loop, your insights help shape how advanced AI systems reason and improve. This is a freelance, 1099 opportunity with remote work and incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to explain decisions.
• Experience writing concise explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet in realistic situations.
• Experience explaining your reasoning in written form.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn't match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific English explanation that points to what you saw or heard.
