Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote AI Ethics and Compliance Officer to establish responsible AI practices across its global operations. The role involves developing, implementing, and enforcing ethical guidelines, governance frameworks, and compliance standards for all AI initiatives.

You will collaborate with legal, engineering, product, and policy teams to address bias, privacy, and transparency, while shaping an ethical landscape and promoting trust and accountability from anywhere in the world.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in law, ethics, public policy, CS, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years in AI ethics, governance, regulatory compliance, or related field.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML ethics, societal implications, and regulatory trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI ethics policies, principles, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct ethical impact assessments and bias audits for AI models and applications.
• Ensure compliance with global regulations and industry standards for AI and data privacy.
• Provide guidance and training to teams on ethical AI development and deployment.
• Monitor emerging ethical issues and regulatory changes in AI and advise the company.
