Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking an Ai Engineer (Rev Cycle Data Intelligence Analyst) to translate complex business needs into data-driven solutions for enterprise analytics. You will produce reports, dashboards, and data sets, and apply data science techniques to improve revenue cycle insights in a secure healthcare environment.

The role emphasizes building predictive analytics, NLP, automation, and self-service intelligence to accelerate decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years’ experience with SQL and a range of query tools (Python, R, Oracle, Microsoft SQL, PowerBI).
• One (1) or more years of experience with hospital billing modules in Epic.
• Experience developing Epic Clarity reports (HB and/or PB) preferred.
• Hands-on experience with reporting analysis and developing custom reports.
• Familiarity with databases used in patient care and data warehousing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Detail moderately to sophisticated business requirements, data definitions, and data quality requirements for enterprise data intelligence projects.
• Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business/clinical needs.
• Produce data sets, reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc requests; conduct data analysis for analytics solutions.
• Build, validate, and operationalize AI and analytics solutions in a secure healthcare environment.
• Support revenue cycle analytics for hospital and professional billing.
• Lead data requests triage, process mapping, and requirement elicitation; provide data-driven recommendations.
• Guide testing initiatives and QA; manage testing projects as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams; manage external vendor relationships.
