Job summary

Hyperproof is seeking a Mid-Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-forward features that power our GRC platform. You will own agent-based services, optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, and collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

You’ll work with foundation models through APIs, emphasize model evaluation and guardrails, and contribute to a secure, resilient backend stack using Postgres, REST, and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, incl. 18+ months on AI-powered features, agents, or applications.
• Hands-on experience building AI applications and integrating LLM-based features in production.
• Deep knowledge of RAG architectures and vector databases.
• Strong backend focus with Postgres and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with GitHub workflows and multi-service architectures.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and delivering scalable software.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and manage AI agents using modern agentic tech with guardrails.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines for high recall and precision.
• Translate product requirements into spec-driven AI features.
• Integrate foundation models via APIs for summarization and intelligent search.
• Design robust backend components using Postgres, queues, and secure storage.
• Write automated tests and monitor system health; manage code via GitHub.
