Job summary

Accordion Partners, a data & analytics team, seeks engineers to build agentic AI systems and RAG pipelines for private equity engagements. You will write agent logic, RAG workflows, and eval harnesses while growing toward owning a workstream and presenting architecture decisions to clients.

The role is highly technical, client-facing, and based in the US with hybrid work flexibility. Expect fast-paced delivery, collaboration with AI engineers, data and product teams.

Qualifications

• Solid Python and/or TypeScript/React fundamentals.
• Hands-on exposure to LLM application development: RAG, tool use, prompt engineering, or agent orchestration.
• Genuine use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).
• Comfort with ambiguity and a fast pace; client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build multi-agent systems and RAG pipelines for PE-backed engagements under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Contribute to prompt engineering, tool design, and deployment for production AI systems.
• Write and run evals as part of eval-driven development; define success criteria before you build.
• Help translate client requirements into technical tasks with the pod on ambiguous parts.
• Build observability into the systems you ship so quality is measurable.
• At Senior level: own a workstream end-to-end and present architecture decisions to stakeholders.
