Job summary

Portless is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and deploy intelligent systems that automate and optimise supply-chain operations at scale. This full-time, remote role offers the opportunity to shape AI in a fast-growing logistics space.

You will work with Python, ML frameworks, and production deployments, collaborating with product and engineering teams to ship AI-powered features and improve model performance across the stack.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.
• Must be authorised to work in the US (no sponsorship).
• Canada/Mexico candidates must already hold US work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e-commerce use cases.
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Monitor and improve model performance in production.
