Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking an AI Engineer (Portless) for a fully remote, North America–based role. You will design, build, and deploy AI systems to automate and optimize supply‑chain operations at scale, with about a 6 hour overlap with ET.

The role emphasizes deploying models to production, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and owning the complete ML lifecycle from data to deployment. A strong track record in AI/ML and Python is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.
• Must be authorised to work in the US (no sponsorship).
• Canada/Mexico candidates only if they already hold US work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e-commerce use cases.
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Monitor and improve model performance in production.
