Block is seeking a Software Engineer for the Financial Platform Eng team to build scalable, AI-enabled financial infrastructure spanning revenue, reconciliations, GL, and reporting. You will design backend services, drive platform migrations, and own integrations with internal and external systems, embracing agentic AI tools.

Qualifications

• AI-first approach to building scalable financial software.
• Experience with agentic engineering and multi-team collaboration.
• 6+ years delivering complex systems with strong distributed design.
• Strong API design and integration experience (REST, gRPC).
• Proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, and data platforms.

Responsabilités

• Build backend services for accounting, FP&A, tax, and procurement workflows.
• Architect platform migrations with zero disruption to users.
