True Talent Solutions Partners in New York is seeking a backend/platform engineer to build scalable finance-oriented platform systems. You will design and own agent frameworks, orchestration, and data infrastructure across engineering teams.

You'll work with Python on distributed systems, contribute frontend with TypeScript/React, and communicate solutions with customers. Visa sponsorship is available for this high-growth fintech role, based on-site in NYC.

Competenze

• Four to twelve years of backend or platform software engineering experience, primarily with Python.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems and data infrastructure, with experience building foundational systems at scale.
• Ability to build frontend features with TypeScript and React, as well as backend systems.
• Experience delivering high-impact, cross-functional engineering projects in production and communicating technical solutions to customers.
• Fluency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience at high-growth tech companies, fintech, ERP, payments, ledger or enterprise integration is valued.

About the Role

Join an AI-powered finance automation company to build the foundational platform systems used across its engineering teams. You will develop agent frameworks, orchestration, and financial data infrastructure that help automate complex finance workflows.

What You'll Do

• Build and own platform capabilities, including agent frameworks, orchestration, verification, observability, and developer tools.

• Design data systems that ingest, normalize, and reconcile information from enterprise resource planning systems, banks, billing, payroll, and customer relationship management tools.

• Work directly with customers and finance teams to understand workflows and turn them into reusable platform capabilities.

• Make architectural decisions amid ambiguity, identify bottlenecks, and deliver full-stack solutions when needed.

• Lead cross-functional engineering projects that improve the capabilities of the broader team.

What We're Looking For

• Four to twelve years of backend or platform software engineering experience, primarily with Python.

• Strong expertise in distributed systems and data infrastructure, with experience building foundational systems that operate at scale.

• Ability to build frontend features with TypeScript and React, as well as backend systems.

• Experience delivering high-impact, cross-functional engineering projects in production and communicating technical solutions directly with customers.

• Fluency with AI-assisted coding tools, such as Cursor or Claude Code.

• Strong computer science fundamentals, including a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related quantitative or engineering field.

• Experience at a high-growth technology company, early-stage startup, or quantitative firm is valued. Fintech, accounting, ERP, payments, ledger, and enterprise integration experience is also relevant.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $180,000 to $270,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
