Job summary

Quanta Services’ QISG is seeking a Software Architect to define the technical foundation for software across the organization, leading high‑impact initiatives and establishing reference frameworks for scalable, secure systems spanning frontend, backend, APIs, data, and AI-enabled workflows.

You will mentor engineers, set CI/CD and observability practices, and collaborate with executives to translate strategy into scalable technical solutions while maintaining enterprise standards and risk

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering or architecture experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
Strong fundamentals: version control, testing, CI/CD, production-grade design.
Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the technical foundation for software across QISG.
Establish reference architectures, engineering standards, and reusable frameworks.
Implement CI/CD, testing, deployment, observability, and production support.
Design and build full-stack solutions spanning frontend, backend, APIs, data systems, and integrations.
Create scalable, production-grade platforms enabling analytics, automation, and AI-powered workflows.
Ensure software solutions are secure, governed, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Mentor and elevate engineering teams through design reviews and coaching.
Partner with executives to translate strategy into scalable technical solutions.
Continuously improve engineering maturity with reusable assets and accelerators.
