Job summary

QISG, part of Quanta, seeks an AI/Data Architect to lead AI-enabled operations from strategy to production. You will work with executives, engineers and field teams to define problems, build prototypes, and turn them into scalable tools.

You will drive architectural decisions, manage end-to-end delivery, and ensure governance and security while delivering measurable business impact. In-office Katy, TX with core hours.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, data engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong fundamentals: version control, testing, CI/CD, production-grade development practices.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and modern data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AI systems including LLMs, RAG, agents, prompt engineering and tool use frameworks.
• Experience taking AI/ML systems from prototype to production, including monitoring, governance, and scaling.
• Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from problem definition through delivery and impact measurement.
• Experience with at least one AI coding or agent tool (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex).
• Awareness of enterprise security, data governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Strong communication skills with executives, technical teams, and field stakeholders.
