Job summary

BD is seeking a dynamic Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to lead and coordinate onshore and offshore QA teams, driving quality across multi-vendor partnerships and ensuring reliable software solutions for customers.

You will establish best practices, manage testing end-to-end, and implement modern tools and AI-driven approaches to elevate test efficiency and product quality in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years in Software Quality Assurance.
• 6 years in SDET or automation-focused roles.
• QA lead or key contributor on complex projects.
• Strong hands-on manual and automated testing experience.
• SDLC, Agile, and modern testing practices understanding.
• Experience with API testing RESTful/SOAP and system integrations.
• Familiarity with Jira and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Copado).
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to QA engineers and SDETs.
• Act as the primary QA point of contact for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams for clear, testable requirements.
• Define and execute test strategies aligned with scope and timelines.
• Plan and estimate testing activities for adequate coverage.
• Oversee manual and automated testing across functional areas.
• Review and validate test cases for alignment with requirements.
• Drive adoption of test automation and maintain automation frameworks.
• Leverage AI‑driven tools to optimize test design and efficiency.
• Ensure environments and test data support real-world scenarios.
• Track defects through lifecycle and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support release planning and QA sign-off.
