Job summary

Constellation Payments is building an AI-first professional services function to accelerate partner onboarding, integration, and value realization. The Forward Deployed Engineer sits at the intersection of product, engineering, partner delivery, and AI-enabled process innovation.

This role works directly with SaaS partners to design, build, and deploy AI-enhanced payment workflows and integrations. This role requires 3–6 years in software engineering, API experience, and a customer-facing

Qualifications

3–6 years in software/solutions engineering.
Experience with APIs and integrations.
Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, or similar.
Flexibility to work in the partner's language.
Customer-facing technical experience.
Interest in AI-augmented engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery sessions with partners.
Design and implement API integrations (REST, webhooks, tokenization).
Build and maintain custom scripts, and lightweight services.
Lead technical integrations from sandbox to production.
Be deployed as part of partner development teams to deliver best-practices-led integrations.
Leverage AI tools for code generation and automation.
Create repeatable AI-enabled delivery playbooks and certifications.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations to drive implementation success.
