Job summary

10X ERP is seeking a Data Migration Specialist to own the data side of client launches. You will access, profile, map, and migrate customers, vendors, items, pricing, inventory, and history into 10X ERP using AI-forward tooling.

You’ll work closely with onboarding and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and repeatability across multiple launches. You will document migrations, build reusable prompts and templates, and coach client staff on data clean-up and gaps.

Qualifications

• AI-first approach to data migration and tooling.
• Proficient with large CSV files and database queries.
• Experience migrating data in ERP, accounting, or inventory systems.
• Ability to explain data issues clearly to non-technical staff.
• Self-directed, well-organised with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and their software providers to access data.
• Extract data from legacy systems via databases, reports, or file exports.
• Profile exports with AI tools to map fields and detect issues.
• Map legacy data into 10X ERP: customers, vendors, items, pricing, inventory, orders, history.
• Run and adapt migration tooling for each client, extending it when needed.
• Perform data integrity checks and walk clients through results before launch.
• Document migrations with AI-generated first drafts and templates.
• Create prompts, checklists, and templates to speed future migrations.
• Support data cleanup and gap filling with client staff.
