Job summary

As a hands-on software engineer, you will transform business needs into secure, scalable applications, collaborate across operations, IT, and quality, and ensure production readiness through the full development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional software development experience.
• Three or more years of experience delivering production applications or enterprise solutions.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript development experience including front-end and back-end work.
• Experience with Git, code review, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with secure development practices and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production applications and AI-enabled solutions using code, APIs, cloud services, databases, and integrations.
• Serve as a technical guide for business teams and stakeholders to build practical solutions.
• Provide hands-on guidance during design, prototyping, testing, and deployment to ensure governance and security.
• Manage solution delivery from discovery through early-life support including risk, timelines, and handoffs.
• Write clean, secure, tested, and documented code with proper source control and deployment practices.
• Translate business needs into technical designs, prototypes, and scalable production apps.
• Build components across front end, service tier, APIs, integrations, and data layers as needed.
• Diagnose defects, troubleshoot production issues, and harden solutions for enterprise use.
• Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and production readiness.
• Establish reusable components, deployment patterns, and governance practices for repeatability.
• Collaborate with IT, security, data, and architecture to meet enterprise standards.
