Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking an AI Deployment Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support AI-enabled production software solutions using APIs, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.

You will collaborate across operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, finance, and IT to deliver working software through the full development lifecycle, including prototyping, testing, deployment, and early-life production support. Remote-friendly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional software development experience.
• Equivalent professional software development experience may substitute a degree.
• 3+ years IT, automation, or software delivery with production apps.
• 3-5 years as a software developer shipping production code.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production applications and AI-enabled solutions using code, APIs, cloud services, databases, integrations, and enterprise platforms.
• Serve as a technical guide for business teams to build solutions with users.
• Provide hands-on guidance during design, prototyping, testing, and deployment; ensure solutions meet enterprise standards.
• Manage delivery from discovery to early-life support, including scope, timelines, and risks.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code with testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Translate business needs into technical designs and scalable applications.
• Build frontend, service tier, APIs, integrations, automation workflows, and data layer components.
• Diagnose defects, troubleshoot production issues, and harden solutions for enterprise use.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and production readiness.
• Establish reusable deployment patterns and guardrails for repeatability across sites.
• Partner with IT security, data, and architecture teams to meet enterprise standards.
• Support citizen developers by coaching and moving viable solutions into governed production environments.
