Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking an AI Deployment Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support AI-enabled production software solutions in a manufacturing setting. You will transform business needs into scalable applications, collaborating with IT, operations, and engineering teams.

The role requires hands-on software development, API integrations, and cloud services experience, with travel up to ~40% in year one and a remote-friendly setup. U.S. citizen or permanent resident status is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related technical field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of software development experience shipping production code.
• Experience reading, writing, debugging, and explaining production-quality code.
• Strong development experience in Python and/or TypeScript across frontend, service tiers, APIs, and automation.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production applications and AI-enabled solutions.
• Serve as a technical guide with business users to build practical solutions.
• Provide hands-on guidance during design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Manage solution delivery from discovery through deployment and early-life support.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code with enterprise development practices.
• Translate business needs into technical designs and working software.
• Build components across front end, service tier, APIs, integrations, and data layer.
• Diagnose defects, troubleshoot production issues, and harden solutions.
• Review and validate AI-generated code for security and production readiness.
• Establish reusable deployment patterns, templates, and support practices.
• Partner with IT, security, data, and architecture to meet enterprise standards.
• Support citizen developers by providing guardrails and coaching.
