Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. seeks an AI Deployment Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support production software solutions that embed AI and automation across our advanced ceramics manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on software role requiring strong development, API work, and production deployment experience. The role collaborates with operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and IT to deliver secure, scalable applications, with travel up to 40% in the first year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related technical field required.
• Equivalent professional software development experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production applications and AI-enabled solutions using code, APIs, cloud services, databases, integrations, and enterprise platforms.
• Serve as a technical guide for business teams, collaborating to build practical solutions.
• Provide hands-on guidance during design, prototyping, testing, and deployment to ensure enterprise standards.
• Manage solution delivery from discovery through deployment and early-life support, including scope, timelines, and risk management.
• Write clean, secure, and well-documented code with source control, testing, and production deployment practices.
• Translate business needs into technical designs and scalable production applications.
• Build components across front end, service tier, APIs, and data layer as required.
• Diagnose defects, troubleshoot production issues, and harden solutions for production use.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and production readiness.
• Establish reusable patterns, templates, and governance for repeated success across sites.
• Partner with IT, security, data, and architecture teams to meet enterprise standards for identity, access, data protection, and responsible AI use.
