Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Release Train Engineer for 100% remote work with East Coast hours. You will own program flow, protect team capacity, and convert business priorities into small, deliverable epics. Partner with Product Lead and Technical Lead, facilitating, coaching, and flow expertise across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven RTE or equivalent senior multi-team Agile leadership with measurable improvements.
• Expertise in Kanban, Scrumban, and Lean flow including WIP limits, cycle time, aging work, and dependency management.
• Strong coaching and facilitation skills with the ability to challenge unrealistic commitments and guide trade-offs with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Run the system of work by establishing and improving the program Kanban, WIP limits, and clear readiness and done criteria while avoiding unnecessary ceremonies.
• Translate intent into executable work by partnering with product and business leaders to break outcomes into small, testable epics that teams pull based on capacity.
• Clear the path by surfacing and resolving risks, dependencies, and blockers across data access, integrations, and review queues.
• Embed AI readiness into delivery by planning evaluation, human review, monitoring, and support as first-class work.
• Facilitate decisions through planning, syncs, demos, and retrospectives focused on evidence, forecasts, and trade-offs.
• Grow team autonomy by coaching leaders and teams to make sound local decisions that reduce reliance on central coordination.
