Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Release Train Engineer for a 100% remote, consulting engagement. You will own program flow, establish Kanban, protect capacity, and translate business priorities into deliverable epics, collaborating with a Product Lead and a Technical Lead.

Ideal candidates will have strong Agile leadership, Kanban/Scrumban experience, Lean flow expertise, and cross-functional coaching skills to enable autonomous, high-quality delivery across AI-enabled initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven Release Train Engineer or senior multi-team Agile leadership with measurable improvements.
Expertise in Kanban, Scrumban, Lean flow including WIP limits and cycle time.
Strong coaching and facilitation skills with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Run the system of work by establishing Kanban, WIP limits, and clear criteria.
Translate intent into executable work by breaking outcomes into epics.
Surface and resolve risks, dependencies, and blockers across data access and integrations.
Embed AI readiness into delivery by planning evaluation and monitoring.
Facilitate decisions through planning, syncs, demos, and retrospectives.
Coach leaders and teams to reduce reliance on central coordination.
