Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, self-paced schedule. You’ll roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off in writing.

Your work helps improve how AI systems reason and respond, contributing to frontier research in a real-world setting. We offer flexible hours, weekly payments, and free access to leading LLMs (GPT, Claude, and more).

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail, with patience to look and listen closely, and to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
