Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, flexible schedule. You will roleplay conversations with AI voice models, rank outputs, and explain what’s off in writing, helping improve AI systems in real-world applications.

Responsibilities include comparing AI-generated media to prompts, inspecting for visual or audio artifacts, and writing precise, evidence-based explanations in English.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to inspect outputs.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of making clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness and usefulness.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely for distortions, flickering, or mismatched audio/video and describing findings in writing.
• Rating each output across dimensions and providing a concise explanation in English.
