Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented evaluators to review AI-generated media. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and assess how well outputs follow prompts.

You will explain in writing what looked or sounded wrong and provide clear feedback remotely on a flexible schedule. Ideal candidates are fluent in English, highly detail-oriented, and capable of concise written explanations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate how natural, useful, and clear each exchange sounds.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge which best follows the prompt.
• Inspect outputs closely—zooming in and replaying—to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Rate each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then write a precise English explanation.
