Job summary

Outlier invites detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, flexible schedule. You’ll roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, compare image and video outputs, and explain what’s off in writing.

Your work helps shape AI that reasons, learns, and improves in real-world tasks. Responsibilities include evaluating captions, images, and videos, rating adherence and realism, and delivering concise explanations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and clear written communication are required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to pause, replay, and zoom in as needed.
• Comfortable making a clear decision when both options have flaws.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video misalignment.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.

Education

Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above
