Job summary

Agile Fuel is seeking an AI Agents & Automations Engineer to design, build and deploy production-grade agents across client environments. You’ll work directly with leadership and client teams to translate business processes into reliable technical solutions.

You will be responsible for infrastructure, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop design, choosing frameworks like n8n, Make, Zapier, and OpenAI SDKs, with an emphasis on reliability and measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying production AI agents.
• Strong Python or TypeScript development skills.
• Experience with multiple agent frameworks and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI agents into live client environments with real users and real data.
• Build the infrastructure around agents, including triggers, queues, error handling and monitoring.
• Define access and infrastructure requirements for each solution (credentials, permissions, data access, rate limits, audit trails).
• Design human-in-the-loop processes where full automation is not suitable.
• Build solutions using frameworks such as n8n, Make, Zapier, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK & Skills, MCP servers or custom orchestration.
• Select framework/architecture based on business problems, not defaults.
• Integrate AI agents with external APIs and business systems.
• Turn client implementations into reusable patterns and components.
