Job summary

DTN is seeking a high-energy Account Executive – Agriculture in the United States to identify, prospect, and win new business in the agriculture sector. You will drive lead generation, build a qualified pipeline, and close deals, then hand off to Account Management for ongoing success.

The role requires a hunter mindset, strong communication with executives, and deep SaaS sales experience. You will leverage industry insights to differentiate DTN and expand our agriculture solutions footprint.

Qualifications

4+ years in B2B sales or new business development.
4+ years SaaS/software sales experience.
Strong understanding of the agriculture industry.
Proven hunter with a track record of acquiring new customers.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Experience engaging senior executives and translating insights into opportunities.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligning with DTN’s agriculture solutions.
Develop and maintain deep product knowledge to communicate value to prospects.
Generate qualified leads through warm outreach and proactive prospecting.
Lead discovery, proposals, negotiations, and closing activities with decision-makers.
Build a strong pipeline of opportunities and consistently meet sales targets.
Transition new customers to Account Management for ongoing success.
Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to accelerate lead generation.
