Job summary

BigIron is seeking a motivated Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling online auction services. The role involves managing a local territory, building relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners and dealers, and guiding customers through the auction process from start to finish.

This full-time position includes base salary, commission opportunities, tools and training, with travel primarily within a local territory and home-based office

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or business development experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a local territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
• Meet with customers on farms, at shops, and throughout the territory.
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing strategy, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with marketing, listing, and operations teams to prepare equipment for sale.
• Support customers through the auction process and provide ongoing service after the sale.
• Manage and grow revenue within the assigned territory.
