Job summary

ClearlyAgile is seeking an experienced DevOps Coach to help client teams evaluate and enhance DevOps culture, processes, and tooling. You will lead the execution of improvements and serve as a hands-on engineer when needed, working across cloud and on-prem environments.

You’ll collaborate with developers, engineers and product teams to design and demonstrate practical solutions, establish milestones, and ensure timely delivery while mentoring others and promoting agile principles.

Qualifications

5+ years in a DevOps-focused role including software development, system engineering and leadership.
Experience assessing DevOps organizations and recommending improvements.
Experience leading software developers and systems engineers within DevOps cultures.
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-prem environments.
Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Istio, Prometheus, GitHub, etc.

Responsibilities

Assess current DevOps practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead execution of identified improvements and mentor teams.
Create practical demonstrations of proposed solutions for stakeholders.
Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions (products, processes, materials, manpower, time).
Maintain infrastructure and software required for products to be delivered efficiently.
Collaborate with product/management to monitor progress and demonstrate improvements.
