Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our National After-Hours Call Team. This part-time, remote role provides telephonic care to aging residents across multiple states, with evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays coverage.

The NP will perform assessments, guide clinical decisions, and coordinate care with facilities, while documenting encounters in the EMR and following CMS guidelines. Requires NC/SC licensure, DEA, and 3+ years of experience, with willingness to obtain additional

Qualifications

• Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active NP licenses in NC and SC; other licenses preferred and may be added.
• NP national certification (ANP, FNP, or GNP).
• DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority.
• 3+ years of NP experience.
• Ability to obtain additional state licenses within 30 days.
• Collaborative practice agreement where required.
• Proficient computer skills including EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as after-hours provider by phone and telehealth.
• Coordinate care between facilities, hospitals, and clinics.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective care to residents.
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR.
• Follow CMS requirements and clinical protocols.
• Participate in mandatory education and training.
