Job summary

Care.com is seeking empathetic, solutions-oriented After Hours Care Specialists to support members via phone, email, and chat. You will help families navigate care solutions, corporate benefits, and urgent crisis resources during evenings and weekends.

Work is remote in the Dallas, TX area with a Central Time schedule. The role requires 2–4+ years in customer service and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus strong EQ and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years in customer/client service, preferably in human services.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic member support via phone, email, and chat.
• Guide members to crisis resources and EAP services.
• Verify member eligibility and document interactions in CRM.
• Meet or exceed KPIs and customer satisfaction targets.
