Job summary

Excellus Health Plan Inc. is seeking an Affordability Program Manager to lead strategic affordability initiatives from intake through measurable value realization.

You will partner with business, analytics, operations, technology, clinical, provider, pharmacy, and vendor teams to translate opportunities into executable plans and drive accountability across stakeholders. The role requires strong program management, data, and transformation capabilities and offers opportunities for remote work on

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare program management, project management, implementation management, business analysis, operations, analytics, consulting, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Analytics, Public Health, Finance, or related field; or 6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Lean, Six Sigma, or related certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.
• Ability to translate business objectives into requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Experience with data-intensive or technology-enabled initiatives involving reporting, analytics, and vendor solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own intake, feasibility assessment, and implementation readiness for complex affordability initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional implementations involving business, analytics, operations, technology, and vendors.
• Evaluate operational, technical, financial, and organizational impacts of proposed initiatives.
• Drive alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities and resolve barriers.
• Identify data, reporting, integration, and process risks early in the lifecycle and develop mitigations.
• Develop and promote governance processes, delivery frameworks, and implementation standards.
